When people say, “It tastes like chicken”, is that a compliment or an insult? Chicken is inexpensive and versatile, making it a staple of most home kitchens. In our Chicken Expert class, we will take the bland and boring and transform it into luscious and thrilling. We begin with butchery techniques. Each student will learn to expertly disassemble a whole chicken. We will then use those pieces to create exciting dishes like White Bean Chicken Chili and comfy classics like Chicken & Dumplings. I will push your palate with spice and flavor by introducing Caribbean Jerk Chicken with Pineapple Rice and even Chicken Liver Mousse (don’t knock it ‘til you try it!). At the end of class, we’ll dine on Colorado Chicken Wings. Then you will take home a portion of each remaining dish as well as brag worthy recipes to recreate and impress.
