Class Description
New for 2023! There’s a fungus among us! Take a peek with me at the fascinating and delicious world of mushrooms, truffles, and all of the tasty things that erupt and grow from the forest floor. Nature brings us the most perfect and natural form of savory “umami”, and we will learn to show our gratitude to mother earth with these recipes. Everything from the comforting heartiness of classic truffle risotto, a vegetarian napoleon that even the most staunch meat eaters will love, to a relatively obscure Mexican delicacy. Ah, the “magic” of mushrooms.
We will have plenty to partake in at the conclusion of the class, as well as some samples of everything to bring back to your neck of the woods.
