Class Description
New for 2024! Are you dreaming of the multi-colored beaches of Oia and Santorini? Are you wondering what all the fuss is about when celebrities travel thousands of miles to this special group of islands? Have you ever tried to make a Greek dish and felt it was missing something? I will share a secret that Greek dishes are very likely not to be written down; taught from generation to generation verbally and not out-of-the-question to have a key ingredient missing so that the final dish is never quite as good as your Mama’s. In this class, you will experience the fun that is Greek cooking (anyone for lemons?) and demystify some classic Greek dishes because I am sharing all the secrets from my one quarter Greek heritage! These are classic dishes you can add to any menu and might very well become staples in your kitchen, especially with my “quick” Baklava and other tricks. At the end of class, we will snack on fresh “squeaky” cheese and other tidbits but you’ll go home with plenty of food.
