Class Description

Who knew that there is not just one, but three types of meringues? Most of us think of Lemon Meringue Pie when hearing the ‘M’ word…and don’t worry we will do a version of that too. In class, Chef Nate will teach French, Swiss, and Italian meringues including what the differences are and how to transform them into light and sublime little bites. We will create everything from Pavlovas to Divinity – and, as a bonus, Chef Nate will show you some adult marshmallows that will transform your S’mores into something that the kids won’t be allowed to have! Additionally, Chef Nate will reach deep into his bag of tricks and WOW students with restaurant-quality presentations that they will be able to replicate at home. At the end of class, we will enjoy the floating islands that Chef Nate has demonstrated. Each student will then leave with a selection of desserts that show off your masterful meringue skills.
