Class Description

Laissez faire le bon temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!). This class will explore the very rich, (in more ways than one), melting pot culture that is Louisiana cuisine. We will dive deeply into the city and the swamps of this place like no other to uncover the spicy, savory, and sweet flavors that define cajun and creole cooking. We will prepare the authentic, scrumptious mainstays: gumbos, jambalaya, and beignets, but also a little “lagniappe” (something extra)! Bring your appetite, as there will be plenty to indulge in, and some more to take home as well, mon cher!
