Class Description

The epitome of gluttony, fair foods represent the best of the worst offerings in the American culinary playbook. Despite this reputation, there is something comforting about the nostalgia of eating something greasy right after getting dizzy on the tilt-a-whirl. In this class, Chef Nate will navigate the class through the perils and pitfalls of successful frying while at the same time striking a balance between sweet and savory, salty and sugary.

At the end of class, students will take home a variety of sweet and savory fairs plus the recipes to hold them over to next fair season.

This is a seasonal class that happens from the end of July through the beginning of August.
