New for 2023! You don’t need to be a native Southerner to know that the South has some truly world-famous comfort food. Sadly, many of the recipes for these dishes are often closely guarded family secrets. Luckily, with this class, you don’t need to hassle a Mississippi Meemaw to get the real thing when it comes to Southern Classics. This class will teach simple techniques that can elevate humble dishes like biscuits and gravy, black-eyed peas, catfish, fried chicken, and an old school “icebox” cake to new heights. At the end of class, we’ll sample and take home a little bit of everything.
