Class Description

New for 2024! Chicken is inexpensive and versatile, making it a staple of most home kitchens. In The Whole Bird class, we will take the bland and boring and transform it into luscious and thrilling. We begin with butchery techniques, breaking each chicken down into 8 pieces. Each student will learn to expertly disassemble a whole chicken. We will then use those pieces to create exciting and flavorful international dishes like chicken cacciatore, kung pao chicken, and chicken mole drumsticks. Students will really learn to use the whole bird as we make chicken stock in the Instapot from the carcass. We will enjoy our chicken wings in class and students will take home a portion of each dish as well as delicious recipes to recreate in the comfort of their own homes.
