Deborah Hartvikson –
These chocolate almond croissants are really amazing. The croissant is flaky and tender and the filling, just right. So often almond creams are overpowering in flavor, as if someone dumped an entire bottle of almond extract into the recipe. Not so with these, both the almond creme and the chocolate are perfect.
When they’re available, getting them frozen is a great way to have a special treat on hand any time you’re feeling the urge. When warmed from frozen according to the package directions, they’re equally amazing!
Well done French Kitchen!
