Stuffed Quail – FZ


Chef Hogan’s perfectly roasted Stuffed Quail is an exceptionally comforting yet elegant dish full of lean protein that makes for a succulent and flavorful first course. Our slow-roasted quail is teeming with a rich Mushroom Duxelle with crispy, spicy Capicola and Swiss cheese with a delightfully sweet and sour Apple Gastrique glaze.

Serves 1. Comes frozen with easy-to-follow reheating instructions.

INSTRUCTIONS: Allow Quail to thaw in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place Quail on an oven-proof sheet in the center of the oven. Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and drizzle half of the Apple Gastrique over Quail. Return to oven for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and let sit for 2 minutes. Cover with the remaining sauce and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS: quail, mushrooms, Capicola ham, Swiss cheese, apple juice, onions, white wine vinegar, garlic, salt, black pepper, bay leaf, all spice. CONTAINS: milk.
