Class Description

In this class, we will use cakes* that have been made ahead of time so that Chef Nate can focus our efforts on making quick fillings, buttercream, and introduce more advanced decorating techniques. The majority of class time will be helpful demos as Chef Nate shows students a variety of buttercream techniques like flowers as well as fondant techniques including covering, draping, and tiling. He will also demonstrate some overall stylistic decorating techniques to give the students a pallet from which to draw inspiration from which to create their own masterpiece at home. Each student will take home a fully decorated, two-tiered celebration cake for special occasion….or just because!
