Private events for all occasions allow our guests to learn cooking techniques in a fun and supportive atmosphere. Guests of The French Kitchen will learn valuable cooking skills while cooking collaboratively to make a delicious meal and create memories that will last a lifetime. Events range from entirely guest-cooked chef-guided menus to chef demonstrations with minimal involvement, to catering your hosted event at The French Kitchen. Classic Menus

Travel around the world from the comfort of The French Kitchen. Choose from one of our 6 exciting globally inspired menus for your next family gathering, work retreat, team building events. You and your guests will cook through 3-4 courses and then the chef will give you the techniques and confidence to plate your restaurant quality dishes in a way that will make your friends jealous that they weren’t invited.

Express Menus

These sublimely sweet and satisfyingly savory classes have been specially designed by The French Kitchen for when you want an event but don’t have the full 3 hours to devote. These classes may be shorter in length but they're certainly not short on tricks and techniques. TFK chefs never miss a moment to teach you something interesting and useful. Hop aboard the express train to the French kitchen for your next gathering, group activity, or gourmet gift.

Themed Events

Looking for that perfect cooking event to do with friends, family, or coworkers then these themed events are for you. Ranging from a night out with the guys, to easy entertaining ideas to a full-on TV style Chef vs Chef throw down these events are not only designed to thrill the palate but satisfy the soul. Come join us to cook, eat, and have some fun! Food safe props and costumes are highly encouraged. No confetti, please 😊.

Team Building Events

Bring your team into The French Kitchen for these competition-forward classes. Chefs will give you the building blocks for your theme, a few pointers, and then the freedom to make it your own. But wait!...just when you thought the competition was straightforward BOOM, TFK will throw out timing challenges, mystery ingredients and teamwork obstacles to test your group. Chefs will observe throughout the competition and judge at the end in a variety of categories. Prizes will be awarded to those who have survived and proven their mettle at the end of class. Attendees will also enjoy a choice of a fresh personal quiche and dessert along with their competition food. Quiche flavors will vary with seasonal availability. Large Group Menus

Do you want to get the whole office or extended family together and don’t want to cook? Can’t think of where to have your next birthday bash? Well then, why not support your local French bakery where freshly baked breads, croissants, and pastries leave the air always smelling exquisite? Your group will choose from our chef-driven buffet menu to include chef-attended cooking stations that will provide your guests with plenty to eat, a show as the chefs are cooking, and the small business charm of The French Kitchen. Where else in town will you get freshly cooked buffet food and the experience of live cooking? Eat, mingle, socialize, and leave the cooking and dishes to us.

Consult with our Private Event coordinator to build your designer menu. This includes a 1-hour in-person meeting at the French Kitchen to discuss, plan, and perfect your event. Prices start at $149 per person and vary as requests dictate, ingredients are subject to availability and seasonality.

Can I customize menus?

Our Private Event Coordinator is happy to customize parties according to format, budget, and the type of experience you envision for your guests.

Who will be our Chef Instructor?

The French Kitchen’s chef instructors are a unique blend of highly motivated self-taught and professional chefs who have been molded to be engaging and inspiring teachers. They will be guiding, teaching, and cooking alongside your guests as they cook their way to gourmet results. The French Kitchen will make sure that guests leave satisfied and with the knowledge and confidence to replicate the recipes and techniques they acquire here.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

We have menus that have a variety of dietary restrictions worked in and are noted on menus. Specific needs can be discussed with our event coordinator. Please note our kitchens are not a gluten or nut-free environment.

What if some of my guests are reluctant to cook?

We foster an environment of comfort and collaboration, and our chefs will encourage involvement, but your guests may participate at whatever level they are comfortable with. We do find that as the event gets underway, even the most reluctant cook can become an active participant! Please note that if you choose a team-building event, our staff will ensure that all guests are involved and will work to get everyone working towards the common goal of tasty food.

Do you offer gift bags for my guests?

The French Kitchen has a boutique section with a variety of cookware, premium ingredients, tools, and wine, so you have the option to give your guests a memento of the event. Custom gift bags can be built to any budget. Gift cards are also available in any denomination so your guests can shop on their own any time after your event. Want a custom apron with the company logo on it? We can do that! Talk to our event coordinator about the timeline and pricing.

Is wine included in the menus?

There are a few specific menus that have wine included as well as some that come with complimentary Bubbly and Bites. We can add French cider, wine, and beer selections to almost any menu. Our event coordinator can help guide your beverage and food choices. Beer and wine tasting menus are available upon request; selections and pricing structure are subject to availability.
