April showers bring a new taste of the month menu at The French Kitchen! Full of vibrant flavors and hearty ingredients, there’s no doubt spring has sprung with this lineup! Enjoy a whopper of a Queenet, a Mediterranean-inspired quiche and a soup that is chock-full of chunky vegetables. Don’t miss out on these limited-time features that are only available during the month of April!
Our Taste of April Bundle includes:
- Chicken Pesto & Feta Quiche – Pesto, parmesan cheese, feta cheese and our egg custard combine to create this Mediterranean-inspired delight! Baked inside our hand-made and buttery pate brisée crust, roasted chicken is layered with a cheesy blend paired with pesto made in-house using fresh basil and pine nuts. A quiche that is great any time of day, serve alongside a salad or soup for a lovely spring meal. Available only during April, try this quiche before it’s gone!
- Roasted Veggies & Lentil Soup – Vegetables are the star of this robust soup! Fire-roasted to bring out the best of their flavors, each vegetable is cooked to perfection and roughly diced to create a chunky and hearty veggie stew. Lentils simmered with cumin and coriander accompany the vegetables while adding a rich source of protein. Perfect for serving in any setting, this soup is gluten-free and vegan. Be sure to try this featured soup, only available during the month of April!
- Malt Ball Queenet – A whopper of a pastry, you won’t believe the amount of milk chocolatey flavor packed into this dainty dessert! Our beloved Queenet is loaded with a light malted pastry cream inside layers of flaky and buttery pastry coated with a fine sugar, then topped with a malted milk ball. Reminiscent of the soda shoppe days, this specialty flavor will take you back in time – but only for the month of April, so be sure to order yours while you can!
PLEASE NOTE: The baguette and queenets are best enjoyed the day of. Soup comes frozen. For delivery, quiches will be delivered cold for freshness with reheating instructions included. For pick-up orders, quiches will not be heated until your arrival. If you would like it heated prior to your arrival, please call us 10 minutes in advance.
Chicken Pesto & Feta Quiche
INSTRUCTIONS: Warm in oven or toaster oven at 400°F for approximately 10 -15 minutes.
INGREDIENTS: unbleached and unbromated flour, eggs, butter, water, salt, cream, chicken, basil, pine nuts, olive oil, parmesan cheese, feta cheese, pepper, garlic. CONTAINS: eggs, wheat, milk, tree nuts
Roasted Veggies & Lentil Soup
INSTRUCTIONS: Thaw in the refrigerator for 24 hours. Add 1/2 cup of water and heat in a saucepan or microwave on medium heat, stirring occasionally, until texture is consistent.
INGREDIENTS: vegetable stock, lentils, fire roasted tomatoes, roasted carrots, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted zucchini, onion, garlic, olive oil, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander.

INSTRUCTIONS: We highly recommend enjoying your Queenet within 6-8 hours, as they are baked fresh daily.
