New for 2023! From fudgy to cakey, over-the-top chocolatey or with a sprinkling of nuts… Brownies are one of those nostalgic desserts that everyone has an opinion on. Chef Nate will not only take you through the realm of classic brownies, but blonde brownies, and some other deliciously fun bars. In class we will be talking about sugar ratios, different types of sugars and flours, and how flour affects the textures of these bars. We will even make a gluten-free oatmeal raspberry bar that is so good you’ll say, “Wow, that was gluten-free?” At the end of class each student will take home a large variety of bar cookies. These brownies, blondies, and bars are so good, you’ll be asked to bring them to every bake sale and get-together.
A brand new class from Chef Nate, our newest Pastry and Baking Chef Instructor. He has worked at the Broadmoor for the past 18 years and is eager to share his passion and knowledge with you.
