Surprise! The kouignettes (which I’ve never had before) are crunchy, crispy, sugary, delicious, and will hit your sweet spot. The sugar on the outside seems to caramelize and almost make a crispy outer shell. So if you want sweet- try these! The variety of fillings also allows you to change it up if you tire of plain pastries.

Thank you for this wonderful treat. I have a great appreciation for French pastry and cooking overall. If I was going to start at one point and explore the many different wonderful offerings it would be here, with a vanilla creme Kouignette. To have one with a cafe au lait, sitting at a window seat watching the world awake is the dream and a memory for some. Thank you to The French Kitchen for being able to add to the memory.

Where have these been? Truly amazing. I have tried the nutella, the cinnamon creme, and the caramel. The caramel is the sweetest and my favorite!
